It was a long time dream for Modern science to develop effective Solar Air conditioner System. Many scientist/Institute are involved to develop air conditioner by using solar energy. Sakura Corporation is proud to announce its newly developed “Mini Solar Absorption Chiller” with single effect. The product designed and developed in Korea to maintain its highest quality. Sakura Mini Chiller capacity ranges 3usRT, 5usRT, 8usRT, and10usRT due to fulfill the demand of domestic requirement. All capacities are available for mass production from November 2010.
Most other prototype models in development are natural gas-fired or use hydroflourocarbon refrigerants that are known to have a significant impact on earth"s ozone. Sakura Mini Solar Absorption Chiller is water-fired and uses a lithium bromide refrigerant which is non-toxic and very much environmentally-friendly.

Sakura water fired SINGLE-EFFECT chillers or chiller-heaters produce chilled water for cooling or hot water for heating in comfort air conditioning applications. The absorption cycle is energized by a heat medium (hot water) at 80-85 degree Celsius from solar energy or other heat source such as industrial waste water, cogeneration system. Sakura chiller requires 80 solar tubes per 1 usRT cooling capacity and with sufficient storage tank units are able to run 24 hrs a day without any gas/electric boiler support.
